Doni Tata 2009

Doni Tata adventure races in the 250cc class is over. The Indonesian riders will not be there to compete again next year.

Doni, that in 2008 seasons was reach one points of the 15 position in the Chinese GP, will be not take part next year after Japan's Yamaha decided to eliminate his participation in the 250cc class. The decision was taken after see the race achievements of Yamaha in the 250cc class.

Achievements of Yamaha in the MotoGP class was a hit in 2008.By placing Valentino Rossi as champion of the world, they also bring success Jorge Lorenzo as Rookie of the Year.Dislike in the 250cc class,Doni is only reach a points along the season.

However, it was not considered due to Doni. Yamaha realize that as well as any potential source of Yogyakarta riders, he still will be difficult to reach the points if he is still go with Yamaha 250cc seasons ago. The bike that Doni ride in the seasons ago is a 2-stroke engine motorcycle that was not develop for any longer by Yamaha since several years ago.

Doni then be moved to another place first, the Supersport World Championship. The event is a 600cc 4-stroke engine motorcycle racing as a second class supporting of the Superbike World Championship. "In the future I will not fight in the 250cc. I will fight in Supersport, "Doni said in the events of Jakarta Motorcycle Show 2008, Sunday (7/12/2008). In 2008 seasons ago Andrew Pitt (former MotoGP racer) as the first champion in this event, followed by Jonathan Rea (which years ago was referred to the MotoGP).

Doni moved to this event is related to new regulations for the 250cc class in 2011. The class will be a 600cc 4-stroke engine motorcycle inline with Doni moved to 600cc 4-stroke engine motorcycle racing ,the Supersport World Championship event is intended as a self-adaptation process for Doni.

Although Doni is no longer fight in the 250cc class, Indonesian representatives will not be lost. Planned next year there will be another rider who will replace Doni positions,so we will see.
